Rozay kind of killed his verse. “Lickin’ shots at you pussies, my stocks done shot through the roof [quarter-grunt]/As I shoot for the stars, I’m shootin’, buyin’ the coupe.”
The Gotti album is skrong at 11 tracks deep, although I’ll never forgive him (or the label? who is the label? RCA?) for putting out “We Can Get It On”, let alone as a single. For someone who had good-to-promising radio singles with “5 Star Chick” and “Bricks” in a two year span, you hoped for a better result in how the album was handled. “Single” and “Cases” (Mike Will Made It putting out a Mortal Kombat song is great) keep the trap sound going, no matter how one-dimensional Gotti can be in his raps. The same way Webbie still sold 50k on an indie, I’d expect Gotti to do something similar, although on a major by classification only, with that North Memphis fanbase.
