When working with the program director of Elvis Radio, he’ll tell you thank you, but he will also thank you on behalf of Elvis Presley. I’m not sure if that’s a resume builder, but I’m really appreciative to know someone who can channel Elvis’ spirit in Graceland. I’m torn though. Because about a year ago, Jay Electronica decided to rip the Elvis Presley cardboard cut-out we had in our lobby in two. On some, “This is for Chuck Berry!” (not confirmed quote). Do I tell the guy to pass along the news to Elvis, or does Elvis already know this happened and is currently haunting Jay Elect? Is the only way to please the friendly ghost of Elvis Presley to record a covers album of The King’s hits? I want Elvis to thank me more than once in this life.
