I don’t even know what project this video is from, but Foxx has become a favorite of mine in 2011, mostly in part to his verse on Mouse On Tha Track’s “Unwind.” Usually one to skim over Trill Ent. releases since college (regrets!), I re-visited most of the Boosie, Webbie, Mouse and other compilations from the past five years and have found myself beyond impressed with the raps. Foxx is the type of rapper that inserts enough comedy in his lyrics that laughing is encouraged while listening. It also helps when one of the songs on his latest tape, “Hemi Hemi Gone”, has a chorus that samples Jonah Hill in “Superbad” saying “she wants my dick in or around her mouth.”
